Who is Aussie Pet Health Treats?

Aussie Pet Health Treats are manufactured by Dried & True Pty Ltd, who manufacture, distribute and supply natural, healthy and nutritious dried pet treats. Aussie Pet Health Treats are manufactured in one of the largest pet treat drying facilities in Australia. Our products are 100% Australian and manufactured in Australia by an Australian owned company. We supply both branded and bulk pet treats.

Highest Quality

We pride ourselves on producing the highest quality product. We collect raw material daily from 28 registered meat processors in eastern Australia and have installed our own chilling systems at the processors to ensure complete freshness during transport to our facility. Our treats are then manufactured in our new, modern, export registered plant in Howlong, NSW. The raw material is prepared and cut to size prior to the drying process. Products are placed on specialised mobile stainless steel racks and moved into one of the drying rooms.  The computerised jet-dryers are then programmed according to the particular product in the drying room. All products are processed and dried differently due to the variance in moisture content in each particular treat.  The drying process is very important and monitored closely by our trained staff and Quality Assurance team, to ensure that the product does not cook, but dehydrates all the moisture out, making the product healthy and safe for pets. All products are subjected to a heat treatment sufficient to destroy pathogenic organisms (including salmonella). Due to our technically advanced drying process, all of our products have a shelf life of in excess of 2 years. Therefore all packaged product is stamped with a "Best Before" date of two years post packaging.

Natural, Healthy & Nutritious

There is growing recognition of the importance of natural, healthy and nutritious diets for pets as well as people. Many owners value their pets’ health equally to their own so want to give them natural, healthy and nutritious treats. Our new, slow drying process creates perfect treats. Slow drying works by removing the water content of the best quality meat and bones. Nothing is artificial. With the water removed, the process enhances the great meaty taste pets love. It's completely natural, with no deep frying, smoking, chemical drying or artificial processing. Aussie Pet Health Treats are a real meat, which is a healthy addition to pet diets.

We don’t “manufacture” treats by adding grain, sugar or preservatives – our treats are made entirely from dried fresh meat and by-products, with absolutely no artificial additives.

Carbon Paw Print

As part of the development of our system we have installed a unique solar cell and heat bank to supply a base load over 3,000 kWs of pure energy.  This means products from Dried & True will have one of the smallest carbon paw prints of any dried treats!

Proudly Australian

We don’t import – you won’t see “Made from local & imported product” on our pet treats because all of our raw materials is 100% Australian, sourced daily from the same farmers and meat processing facilities that supply supermarkets and butchers.  Dried & True is 100% Australian owned by Aussies who understand what Aussie dogs love!
